Privacy Policy

Last updated November 4, 2026

This website, thebackyardbymarina.com, is run by Marina Pool, Spa & Patio ("Marina", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect through the site, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • What you tell us. When you RSVP or fill out a form, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, group size and how you heard about us.
  • How you found us. We record the campaign details in the link you used to reach the site (for example, that you scanned our postcard or clicked an ad).
  • How you use the site. We use cookies and similar tools from Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta to understand which pages are useful and which ads bring people to the showroom. These tools collect details such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location.

How we use it

  • To plan the event you RSVP'd for and send you a confirmation, a reminder and a thank-you.
  • To reply to questions and requests you send us.
  • If you check the box to receive them, to send event invitations and seasonal notes. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link at the bottom.
  • To measure and improve our website and advertising. For this, we may share a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address or phone number with Google or Meta so they can tell us whether an ad led to an RSVP. They cannot read the original.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run this site and our events, and only for that purpose: our email service (EmailOctopus), our website host, Google, Meta, Cloudflare (spam protection) and our marketing agency. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in any email.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and adjust ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts.
  • Ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you: call us at (303) 985-0077 or write to us at Marina Pool, Spa & Patio, 10777 W 6th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80215.

How long we keep it

We keep event and contact information for as long as it's useful for the purposes above, and delete it when it isn't.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
